Switched at Birth: How to Talk about Waiting

This week, on one of our favorite ABC Family shows, Switched At Birth, Bay and Tank almost take their relationship to the next level.  Things are getting hot and heavy for them but Bay wants to put the brakes on the situation. It’s not that she doesn’t like Tank or even that it’s her first time; Bay already had sex with her old boyfriend Ty.  But for some reason, she’s just not ready and doesn’t want to have sex with Tank until she’s sure of what it means to her.

Secret Life: Lies and Byes

What?! Could it be?! Amy and Ricky DIDN’T get married?! Instead, they are pretending to have done “the right thing” and faking that they got married. And now, with all their parents (except George), wanting to throw them a wedding party, the guilt and lies are catching up to them.

Think Greek

One of our favorite shows is Greek on ABC Family. It’s about a bunch of people who go to college together. Casey and Cappie are two of the main characters—Casey is a popular member of the ZBZ sorority, and Cappie is her ex-boyfriend (they’re still pretty friendly though). There are a bunch of other characters—Ashleigh, Rusty, Calvin, Dale, Rebecca, Katherine to name a few—and most of them live together in fraternity and sorority houses.

In a recent episode Casey and Cappie had a pregnancy scare; there’s a lot to think about after watching it.
