Wow!  A lot happen in this episode.  I don’t even know where to start, so how about we start right at the beginning of the episode.

Maya and Reina storm into Father Rodolfo’s house only to find out he isn’t there.  The woman said he took off a few days ago and she hasn’t seen him since.  Once the two go back outside, they discuss Ramon and Maya reveals that he raped her.  Reina apologizes about Ramon.  However, back in Campo, Ramon is in jail talking to someone.  The guy needs the money from the cocaine in a week.  He says if he doesn’t get the money, either Ramon dies for the drugs, or Maya does.

The wedding planning is in full force.  At the restaurant, they are planning the menu for the reception and Paulie is planning the bachelor party.  Jacob and his father then go tuxedo shopping.  As the two are dressed in their tuxedos, they are remembering his mom.  Jacob’s father tells his son that this would have made his mom happy.  He sees it not about getting someone pregnant, rather stepping up and taking responsibility for his actions.  Paulina takes Jessie wedding dress shopping because she refuses to allow her to wear her prom dress to her wedding.  She also asks Jessie if she’s heard about Maya leaving LA.  Paulina doesn’t know that it was Jessie who asked her to leave but thinks Maya needs to stay in LA to be safe.

The Dance Five finale has finally arrived as well.  Before the performance, Vanessa doesn’t look well and right after the Bomb Squad’s performance starts, she passes out on stage.  She is diagnosed with the flu but that isn’t it.  The doctor tells Vanessa that she is HIV positive.  HIV is a viral sexually transmitted infection (STI) that can never be cured.  To stay informed about STIs, check out this Stay Teen article.  In order to prevent the further spread of HIV, the doctor tells Vanessa to notify all of her sexual partners.  She calls Cristian to tell him the news and he reveals that he was just tested and he is negative.  Vanessa then calls Freddie.  That conversation did not go well.

Reina and Maya learn that Ramon has jumped bail and no one has seen him in days.  Maya also denies her mother’s thoughts about how she and Jacob want to be with each other.  But Jacob has officially declined his scholarship to be with Jessie and support her when the baby arrives.  Maya decides to go to San Francisco because there are good culinary schools there and she will be able to stick to the promise she made to Jessie.  However, Reina wants to go with her.  The two bicker before agreeing they will both leave after the wedding.  Maya goes into the restaurant to say goodbye to the staff.  Ramon pulls up in a car right behind Reina and Maya.  We see him reach into the compartment in his car and pull out a gun. 

And then the episode ends.  I guess we have to wait and see what happens during the next episode!
