The College Experience

College, college, college…college is something just about every child looks forward to. Entering into college is like a coming of age for us young adults. It represents having the freedom of an adult but being financially supported like a child in your parent’s house. College is where many people find out who they truly are and what their purpose is in life. When we enter high school, we always hear stories from those who went onto college before us, anticipating our chance to finally experience all the wonderful things we have heard about.

College Here We Come!

“Last day home” and “It’s been real guys, see you at Christmas!” Slowly everyone from my grade is making the journey to their new respective homes for the year: college. I am about to “embark on the next chapter of my life” along with all of the other people I graduated with three months ago. Corny clichés aside, this is the first time many people are living away from home.

The Reel Thing

College was always a black and white subject growing up.  I read all the right books, and watched all the coming of age movies that pointed to one thing: College. It was always expected, and embedded in my 6-year-old mind.

Teen Mom 3: Stay With Me
