What Would You Miss Out On If…

…You Were a Teen Parent? Part 2

The month of May means a lot of things…Prom season is upon us, school is almost out…AND it's Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month. Obviously, we're pretty excited about that last one and so are the members of our Youth Leadership Team. We asked them what kinds of things they'd miss out on and if their lives would change if they became teens parents. Check out their collages to see what they thoughts.

Jen, 18

If you became a teen parent, you would miss out on:

  • having fun with friends and going to dances and parties and road trips and concerts!
  • SAFE sex.
  • Quality time on Pinterest.
  • More options!

Shelby, 16

Not being a teen parent means that:

  • You can stay carefree and live it up and truly enjoy being a teenager.
  • You are free from adult stresses and you can dream and party and do all the crazy, amazing stuff that comes with being a kid.

Have you ever imagined how your life would change if you became a teen parent? Tell us in the comments!

I was a teen mom and it did not ruin my life! I’m disgusted at your commercial. I do however wish I would have waited to have sex but I wouldn’t change for the world!!!

This is so dumb. The only way you can really prevent teen pregnancy is free condoms an birth control, cause you can’t stop kids from having sex. It’s pretty amazing.
