St. Patrick's Day is TODAY, and it's making us think of luck…so we asked our local teen advisory group to tell us just what makes them feel lucky. Here are some of their answers:

Shackwaniz, 17

"I'm lucky because I have an awesome mom who cares for me, who believes in me, and who loves me unconditionally."

Mary, 19 

"Living in DC a lot of young African Americans die before making it to the age of 18 years old. I don't really believe in luck but I will say that I am blessed."

Sheila, 18

"I got my parents and a whole lot of family to support me through everything I pick to do with my life. My parents love me no matter how much I get on their nerves. I have real friends that love me, no matter how random and odd I get."
