This week’s episode started off with a bang so let’s just jump into it. 

Gaby Rodriguez is a bold and audacious young woman.  For Gaby’s senior project, she chose to alter six months of her life, from her appearance to her interactions with her family, while classmates unknowingly participated in her experiment. Although Gaby had no preconceptions about the results of her experiments and did not decide to focus on stereotypes until she was partially through with the project, she was willing to put each of her relationships in peril for the sake of the results. More than anything, it was Gaby’s dedication to the cause that demonstrated the way teen pregnancy affects the whole family.

This Saturday, before I watched The Pregnancy Project on Lifetime, I was on edge about the content. Sex and getting pregnant isn't exactly a common household topic for me. There was just this elephant-in-the-room awkwardness because I knew mom would be thinking, "What if this was my daughter..." the entire time. 

This episode was filled with lots of drama and one of my favorite couples, Leah and Corey, is having major issues. Throughout Teen Mom 2, Leah and Corey are the only parents who stay together. We have seen them go through ups and downs, but this looks like a fight that they just can’t get over. 

Jenelle, Jenelle, Jenelle… it really looks like she has lost total control over her life. On last night’s episode, things looked hopeful when we saw Jenelle agree to pay child support for Jace, but on the ride home from social services she began screaming at her mom.

During last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, it looked like all the moms are facing big challenges and are making lots of changes. With a couple of moms discussing moving and one looking for a job, these moms never get the chance to just relax. 

Last night’s Teen Mom back-to-back episodes were a great way to spend a Tuesday night. Two new cars, a new townhouse and some long-awaited test results all seem like a step in the right direction for the teen moms. But we also know by now that the life of a teen mother is a roller coaster, with constant ups and downs and all they can do is try their best to hold on for the ride.

Wow! Some crazy news on last night’s Teen Mom 2. I can’t believe that Chelsea’s friend Megan is pregnant! Since she used to live with Chelsea and Aubree you’d think she’d see how hard it is being a teen mom. 

It’s Christmas time for Teen Mom 2! There was a lot going on, but it seemed like everyone had one thing in common: all of the girls were forced to deal with separation. Kailyn was separated from her son, Jenelle from her boyfriend, and Chelsea considers how her parents’ separation affects her life and relationship with Adam. On the other hand, Leah is so grateful to not be separated from her babies (like she was last year), that she decides Christmas has to go perfectly. 

Yay!! I love when the Teen Moms talk about birth control. Kailyn wins this week for bringing birth control conversations out in the open.
