Did you see last night's Degrassi? When Jenna and KC finalized their baby's adoption? That scene where Jenna and KC watched Tyson get carried out of their lives? I know I wasn't the only one doing the ugly cry watching that scene. And Jenna just looked numb. I'm sure she has yet to fully process her emotions about it, even if she feels sure she made the right decision. (Makes you think about what Holly J's birth mom went through when she gave her up—wasn't Holly J eleven months old, too?)

Relationships are tricky sometimes (as everyone working on Eli's play Love Roulette knows!), but they become infinitely more complicated when there's a baby involved.

On Thursday night's Degrassi, Jenna got dealt yet another blow: the core of her support system—KC—has been out cheating on her while she attends to the never-ending, all-consuming needs of their baby.

On Wednesday's episode of Degrassi, Jenna seemed to reach her breaking point.  As a teen mom with no way to pay for childcare, she's stuck at home all day, every day, and it's driving her crazy. 

"When I'm alone with Ty, I get so depressed. I need to see my friends... be normal." -Jenna

Jenna seems surprised to hear that K.C.'s mom never went back to school after having K.C., but that's pretty normal for a teen mom.  Less than half of teen mothers ever graduate from high school and fewer than two percent earn a college degree by age 30.
