Say What!!! Double Standards Are Not For Me…

I do agree that guys and girls are expected to behave differently in a relationship. I feel that in relationships girls are expected to be kind, emotional, and lenient. They are expected to “ride or die” for their boyfriends no matter what. Guys are expected to be brave, protective, the provider, and the one in charge in the relationship. If a guy cheats, his girlfriend is expected to forgive and forget and stick with him. Whether you decide to live up to the double standard or not, it is difficult especially when you are involved in a relationship.

Teen Mom 2: Making Moves

During last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, it looked like all the moms are facing big challenges and are making lots of changes. With a couple of moms discussing moving and one looking for a job, these moms never get the chance to just relax.

Are guys more likely to cheat than girls?

Movies and television often give guys a bad rap making them out to be deceitful, selfish jerks. Which came first though—the cheating boyfriend or the movie about the cheating boyfriend? It’s fair to say that teenaged guys are still maturing so their judgment isn’t always the best...but teenaged girls are ALSO maturing, right? So who cheats more?

Whether you think it's guys or guys, it doesn't much matter...cheating is not ok. Anyone who’s ever been cheated on will tell you it hurts. Being betrayed by someone you thought you loved—or at least someone you liked enough to date!—sucks and there's no getting around it. But just because your boyfriend did you wrong or your girlfriend broke your heart doesn't mean that ALL guys or girls are cheaters. So don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch.

Have you ever been cheated on? Was it a girlfriend or boyfriend? What’d you do to get over it? Let us know in the comments!

Teen Mom 2: Breaking Point

Last night’s Teen Mom back-to-back episodes were a great way to spend a Tuesday night. Two new cars, a new townhouse and some long-awaited test results all seem like a step in the right direction for the teen moms. But we also know by now that the life of a teen mother is a roller coaster, with constant ups and downs and all they can do is try their best to hold on for the ride.

Teen Mom 2: Lean on Me

Wow! Some crazy news on last night’s Teen Mom 2. I can’t believe that Chelsea’s friend Megan is pregnant! Since she used to live with Chelsea and Aubree you’d think she’d see how hard it is being a teen mom.

Teen Mom 2: Home for Christmas

It’s Christmas time for Teen Mom 2! There was a lot going on, but it seemed like everyone had one thing in common: all of the girls were forced to deal with separation. Kailyn was separated from her son, Jenelle from her boyfriend, and Chelsea considers how her parents’ separation affects her life and relationship with Adam. On the other hand, Leah is so grateful to not be separated from her babies (like she was last year), that she decides Christmas has to go perfectly.

The Friday Five: How Not to Have an Argument

Whoever came up with the phrase “Agree to Disagree” was probably single when they said it. It’s hard to have a romantic relationship that involves absolutely zero arguments. And that’s okay. A disagreement every now and then doesn’t make a relationship unhealthy—as long as you handle it in a healthy way.  The following five techniques should be avoided when arguing with your girlfriend if you put your relationship with her above always being right.

Teen Mom 2: Episode 4

Yay!! I love when the Teen Moms talk about birth control. Kailyn wins this week for bringing birth control conversations out in the open.

Is Your Friend an Overbearing Boyfriend?

Is there anything more annoying than that couple you know who are always grossly engaging in excessive PDA? You know—the ones who can’t keep their hands off one another and are always so touchy-feely it makes everyone around them uncomfortable? Sadly there is. What’s worse is the guy who is a total overbearing boyfriend to his girl.

The Older Guy

Once you get to high school, a whole new world of possibilities opens up for you. Suddenly you aren’t limited to dating the boys you’ve known since kindergarten—the same ones who put gum in your hair or threw spitballs at you from across the room. Nope, you can leave those immature losers behind for a sophisticated older guy.
