Stay Out Loud: Do You Think Teens Regret Not Waiting Longer to Have Sex?

People talk a LOT about sex...who's having it, who isn't having it, and everything in between. And that got us wondering about people who have had sex...

Stay Out Loud: What is the Biggest Mistake Guys Make in Relationships?

Relationships—for the good or for that bad—take up a LOT of our time. And we all know that nobody is perfect, which got us to thinking: what are the biggest mistakes that GUYS make in relationships?

Don’t Let Facebook Ruin Your Relationship!

Though obviously fun to use, Facebook can also be a major source of stress. We know it’s changed the way we date, so before you accidentally detonate one, here are a few Facebook-related relationship landmines and how to avoid them.

Stay Out Loud: Is There Pressure on Teens to Have Sex or Be Physical in Relationships?

Stay Out Loud: How Important is it to Have Good Communication with Your Boyfriend or Girlfriend?

We talk all the day...to our friends, to our teachers, to our boyfriends/girlfriends, to our parents. But are we just talking or are we actually communicating? And, for that matter, how important is good communication when it comes to healthy relationships?

Thirdwheeling!

(and Why It’s Not Always a Bad Thing)

We’ve all been there…your best friend has a new boyfriend/girlfriend that you aren’t absolutely crazy about. Put frankly, you just really don’t like him/her whatsoever. As a good friend, you try to remain supportive of their relationship. You play that whole, “if my friend is happy, I’m happy” game with yourself. Sooner or later, however, the two of you are talking and the reality of the situation slips out:

Would you talk to your parents about your romantic relationships?

Talking about sex with a parent can be a sticky situation—they might get all judgey and freak out or become overprotective and strange…but you’ve got to admit—your parents probably know you better than most people, right? Or if not better, at least in a different way than most people. So, regardless of the potential weirdness of the conversation, would you confide in your parents about your relationships? Or ask their advice on dating?

Do you think more guys talk to their dads than girls? Do you think more girls talk to their moms? In the comments, tell us if you’ve ever confided in your parents and, if so, whether you choose your mom or your dad.

Three Big Words

Your parents have probably said it to you a thousand times.  I love you.  Those three words seem like no big deal as you’re leaving for school.  Those three ‘little’ words, however, don’t feel so little when saying it for the first time in a romantic way.  Speaking that phrase aloud to someone can somehow be terrifying and exciting at the same time.  It feels like a really big deal.  And it is.
