Teen Mom Season 4: The Places You'll Go
Happy Graduation to Catelynn and Tyler! There were a lot of cheers and tears from their friends and family as the two lovebirds walked across the stage at their high school graduation. Catelynn’s dad and brother, River, made the trip from Florida to see her graduate. The only one missing from the festivities was Tyler’s dad, Butch, who was scheduled to be released from jail one day after graduation. Tyler was clearly a little upset that his dad couldn’t make it to his graduation, but instead of dwelling on, it he focused on his plans for the future. He wants to go into social work and Catelynn wants to be a teacher. Catelynn and her mom also had a heart to heart. Catelynn’s mom said she was proud of her both for what she did for Carly and for graduating high school. It looks like their relationship has really improved.
Maci doesn’t want to be apart from Bentley for an entire week while he’s at the beach with Ryan’s family. She decides to come along on the trip with some of her girlfriends with the hopes of being able to spend some time with Bentley. Ryan doesn’t seem excited about her decision at all, especially because he’s bringing a new girlfriend that he hadn’t told Maci about. His parents, however, seem to be completely Team Maci. Not only do they still have pictures of her and Ryan up in their house, Ryan’s mom suggests Ryan, Maci, and Bentley spend some time together on the beach and take a family picture. Maci and Ryan were once engaged but more than one-third of mothers whose pregnancy was unplanned break up with their partners before the baby’s second birthday. Having a baby with someone means you have to permanently be in each other’s lives, so make sure it’s a person you want around forever.
With all the drama that’s surrounding Amber and Gary, Gary’s mom seems to be the only one who asks the important question, “How is this going to affect Leah?” Amber hasn’t seen Leah in a month and Gary’s mom is worried about allowing Leah to be with Amber and then separating them again. Who do you think is actually going to benefit from Leah and Gary’s visit? Amber’s caseworker gets in touch with her brother who offers Amber his opinion on Gary. He doesn’t believe that Amber and Gary can ever be in a healthy relationship and thinks that Gary enables Amber because he wants her to be dependent on him. Gary surprises Amber with a phone call to tell her that he and Leah will be coming to visit the next day. Amber is excited to see Leah but after talking to her brother, she isn’t sure how she feels about seeing Gary. Do you think Gary and Amber’s relationship is toxic? Or do you think they can work out their issues?
Farrah and Sophia are excited about their new beginning in Florida. Farrah is trying to start her own life away from her parents and she is not happy when Michael says that he will move down to Florida if he can find work. Her mom is still being negative about the whole situation and although Farrah is trying to share her new life with her, she gets fed up with her mother’s constant badgering. I think it’s time for the Mother of Manipulation to step back and have a little faith in Farrah. What do you think?
