Jenna and KC Finalize Their Baby's Adoption
Did you see last night's Degrassi? When Jenna and KC finalized their baby's adoption? That scene where Jenna and KC watched Tyson get carried out of their lives? I know I wasn't the only one doing the ugly cry watching that scene. And Jenna just looked numb. I'm sure she has yet to fully process her emotions about it, even if she feels sure she made the right decision. (Makes you think about what Holly J's birth mom went through when she gave her up—wasn't Holly J eleven months old, too?)
What's crazy is: that scene destroyed me, and yet it can't even hold a candle to the true level of sadness that moment would rise to in real life.
It's especially hard because they had no happy options left. Raise Tyson, constantly struggling to complete high school (if Jenna could ever really make it back at all), to make enough money to live on, to find any time to take care of their own needs (such as for instance, "having any fun")? Or give up Tyson, and break their own hearts to tiny, sad, little pieces in the process.
The only happy options they ever had existed before they ever got pregnant. They could have held off on sex, or they could have used protection every single time.
Have you ever considered what life would be like if you got pregnant/got someone pregnant? Have you thought about how tough raising a baby is or how incredibly hard choosing adoption would be? Tell us what you thought of last night's episode in the comments!

WHAT OTHER TEENS ARE SAYING:
I think she did the right thing because now the baby can have a better life. Some of these comments are really mean! You obviously have NO idea what it's like to be a teen mom.
If they feel they are mature enough to have sex, then they are mature enough to raise a kid. If you don't want a kid, then have back-up birth control. Obviously, if both them consider the decision of adoption because they want to have their " fun time", then they aren't even mature enough. Cuff it. seriously.
I dont think they should of even had them give up the baby..it was stupid, and it shows teens that its ok to have a baby because in the end if you cant handle it just give the baby up to a family who can,to me that is selffish,if you choose to have sex with out anything.then you chose to take care of that lil life if you become pregnant,i do not think it is far to give the baby up,esp to because you wanna still have your fun, sorry once you think your old enough to have sex then I guess you have growing up and need to take care of the life you made.
wow i cant believe it i so cryed i love watchin this shoe bcuz it shows wat we(as a teen)go throught tht some people are like"just shut up and move on" when its more then tht its our life tht is being thrown apart
